SPAIN

After my stay in South America I was finally able to communicate properly in Spanish. It was the time to practice it in its native land: Spain. A dear Mexican friend, known during my stay in New Zealand, was planning to go to Spain for holiday and invited me to catch up there. Wasn’t it the perfect occasion to book a fly to Andalucía and create beautiful memories with my friend? Of course it was! My friend was so impressed because when we were living in New Zealand we were talking in English but when we met in Sevilla I greeted her in her own language, she couldn’t believe we were speaking in her language! We had a great time travelling around, enjoying the beautiful architecture left by the Arabs, going to Tablao Flamenco to see the passionate flamenco performances in which I was quite moved to tears because of the great pathos the artists were able to create on the stage. However, I was surprised by the fact Andalusian appeared way colder than what I expected, usually Spanish are described as very friendly, endeed Latin American know way better how to welcome foreigners. The student became the master.
