On my way to New Zealand I decided to stopover in Taiwan to see another Asian country. I visited Taipei a couple of times to have a taste of different iconic areas. The first time I landed in Taipei I booked a private tour with a guide. My tour guide came to pick me up in a black a car with a driver. I felt so important, it was endeed a private tour and we had to pick up only another tourist from its hotel before starting exploring the city. In the Longshan Temple I had the chance to make wishes that later became reality, I enjoyed the colorful Freedom Square and I ended the day being invited by the other tourist to have dinner together in a beautiful restaurant on top of a skyscraper in the financial district of Taipei. Taipei was very nice to me also the second time I came back to the city, it was beautiful to see the people trying to help me even if they didn’t know how to speak my language… A girl in the metro station was so surprised to see me that took pictures of me because it is very rare to see Caucasian people over there. I loved walking through Sansia Old Street in the morning while the city was still very quiet or enjoy the view of all the Island from Jiufen.
