I really love markets, especially those of Christmas time. So, what is the best place to go if you want to be mesmerized by Ponch, Crafts and pretzels… While being surrounded by Cinnamon smell? Wién for sure! When I reached the Austrian Capital, I felt the place very familiar. Its urban asset, the colors endeed reminded me of Trieste, the city where I did my Bachelor of Science. Trieste, known also as “The small Wién”, was built on its image since it was part of the Austro-Ungarian Empire and represented an important harbor for the crown. Thanks to Trieste, it was very easy to get familiar with Wién.
